Self employed in the office furniture industry as a manufacturer’s representative. Started as a local representative, then regional and finally national. Developed the lateral file and created a filing systems business. Started a manufacturing business of specialty executive office furniture geared toward the “Fortune 100 Corporations”. Assisted in product development but concentrated on sales and marketing while managing four nationally dispersed showrooms and a national sales staff of 48. Has extensive background working with architects and interior designers.

Worked for IBM in systems engineering and as a sales representative in the 60’s. Joined Pfizer in 1970 and held positions in information systems, marketing, sales and business unit management. Spent final half of his career in strategic planning with various units of the company retiring in 2001 as divisional vice president of strategic planning. Has worked for SCORE since shortly after his retirement. He is also involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester and various other volunteer activities.

He has been the editor-in-chief of an international marketing newsletter and of two specialized business magazines, one for appliance/TV retailers and one for magazine advertisers.
